Julie founded The JM Consultancy to support ambitious, high-performing entrepreneurs and executives building meaningful businesses and legacies. She develops trusted relationships with clients and works alongside them to provide executive, operations and project management support. Clients include founders and managing principals of boutique firms, executives involved in multiple commercial and philanthropic ventures and family-run enterprises and estates.
Julie works as an extension of client teams to provide seamless, ongoing support. Clients have noted Julie’s personable and upbeat style helps their team collaborate and communicate effectively. She also works within a close-knit group of specialized consultants to source large-scale projects according to client needs, managing them from start to finish. Such projects have included firm rebrands, website upgrades, webinars and in-person events.
Previously, Julie held several business management and operations-focused roles at the law firms DLA Piper and Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. where she collaborated with senior leaders to develop and drive market growth initiatives. In each of these roles, she was involved in devising and executing strategic plans for offices, sectors, practice groups and individuals. She also served as executive assistant to the CEO and COO of a multi-national law firm, working alongside them to manage all day-to-day operational activity. She was also entrusted to lead special projects, including preparing research reports for the management committee to assess potential firm mergers.
Julie earned a M.B.A. from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and a B.A. from Rutgers University. She is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) certified practitioner and uses the assessment as a tool to help professionals gain insight about interpersonal dynamics and leadership styles.
